Patriots' Day Video - The Spirit of Acton 1861 - Faulkner Homestead
Celebrating Patriots' Day in Acton with a sense of historic relevance.
Brought to you by the Acton Historical Society, the Iron Work Farm in Acton, Inc. and several local volunteers with a great imagination, Acton celebrated Patriots’ Day with a Trolley Ride back in time.
Several local residents and out-of-towners met at the Acton Town Hall at noon and hopped onto the Patriots’ Day Trolley that brought them to three historic places in Acton for an interactive learning experience.
The trolley stopped at the Hosmer House (300 Main Street), Jones Tavern (128 Main Street) and the Faulkner Homestead (5 High Street). At each designated spot, history reenactments took place.

Acton Patch bought the ticket and took the ride back in time to experience Acton in 1774 & 1861.
