PHOTOS: Acton Band No Soap Radio Performed their Final Show with Original Members
Monday night at the Acton Jazz Cafe, local band, No Soap Radio, performed their final show with their original members before college.
One of the most active Acton bands is facing growing pains – nothing won’t be able to stretch back into shape. All five-band members are recent graduates of , with two members heading into their freshman year in college.
Monday night, the band performed their final show with its original members at the . Diehard fans sang lyrics word for word and there wasn’t one person in the crowd not tapping their feet or bobbing their head.
Friend and fan of the band, Nathan “Hamjam” Hamlin, drove up from Cambridge to record the show.

“It’s interesting to think that this is the final recording of the band with the original members,” said Hamlin.
Bass player, Devon Murphy, is off to the University of Hartford – far enough not to make band practice.

“I made the choice to go away this far,” said Murphy. “There’s no bad blood. We’re all still good friends and I’ll still be playing music."
The other four members mentioned having another bass player who fits the mold just right. According to No Soap Radio, they plan on still getting together to practice and record.
