Nature Play Day

Where/When: Saturday from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Drumlin Farm and Wildlife Sanctuary, 208 South Great Road, Lincoln.

Why Go: To spend the day in the hay playground, the nature obstacle course and the Forest Discovery Trail playing "The Old Fashioned Way."

Pricing: Admission to farm and to event is free for all on Saturday.

15th annual Massachusetts Marketplace Festival

Where/When: Saturday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at The Gardens at Elm Bank 900 Washing St., Wellesley.

Why Go: A largescale farmers and crafts market with craft and specialty food vendors from across the state. Bring a picnic blanket, enjoy the gardens, browse the market stands - there are plenty of kids activities, too.

Pricing: Adults $6; Children under age 12: $2.

New England Forests Exhibition

Where/When: Through Sept. 1 at Harvard Museum of Natural History. 26 Oxford St., Cambridge, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily.

Why Go: This is a new, interactive gallery that explains the regional forests and ecology, including wildlife from wolves to lichen; 26 Oxford St., Cambridge.
