VIDEO: Search for Bridgett Continues in Acton
With the help from a Cape Cod search and rescue expert, there may still be hope to find the dog that has been missing since Nov. 2011.
Your first reaction to the probability of finding a dog that has been missing for five months is probably something like, 'no way that dog is still alive' - or, 'someone probably took her in by now.'
But if you ask William Dalrymple, member of the Tracking club for Massachusetts, a missing Husky is like a missing solider - better equipped for survival in the wilderness.
Dalrymple, of Cape Code, owns a Husky and has trained her to be a search dog. Assisting in the search for Bridgett is surely not his first rodeo. Dalrymple's wife got in touch with owner of Bridgett, and volunteered her husband to help with the search effort - completely voluntarily.

"I told her up front that this is strictly out of the goodness of our hearts and there are lots of people around that do that," said Dalrymple.
According to Panek, there have been several recent sightings of a Husky in Acton's River Street area - which prompted a search effort of the area earlier this week.
