Andover Garden Club Plant Sale
Large Divisions of Locally Field-Tested Perennials and Other Plants Offered for Sale

On Saturday, May 9, 2015, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon, the Andover Garden Club (www.andovergardenclub.org) will offer a variety of plants for sale, including perennial favorites from AGC gardens and some special selections for Mother’s Day. The sale will take place in Andover Townsman parking lot, 33 Chestnut St. (corner of Bartlett St. and Chestnut St.), running concurrently with Crafts in the Park across the street.
Plants from AGC gardens are field tested for this growing zone, and, in most cases, the divisions sold are considerably larger than those offered for sale by garden centers. Many of the plants that will be offered for sale were grown in the naturalistic garden the AGC designed, planted, and maintains at the junction of River Road and Chandler Road in West Andover. (See photo.)
AGC members will be on hand to offer “how to” advice on planting and growing the plants. In addition, information about the club’s Junior Gardeners program for Andover youth will be available at the sale. For more information about the sale, contact Judy Wright at 978-337-7942 or wrightspaces@comcast.net.
