3 Andover High School Teachers Placed On Leave
An Andover Public Schools spokesperson declined to say why three social studies teachers were placed on leave.

ANDOVER, MA — Three Andover High School social studies teachers were recently placed on leave and a school official declined to say why. Andover Patch confirmed with school employees and parents familiar with the matter that the teachers were placed on leave, but it remains unclear why the teachers are not in school.
Andover Public Schools spokesperson Nicole L. Kieser declined comment Saturday morning. Patch has also asked the Massachusetts Teachers Association — the union that represents Andover teachers — for comment and will update this story when we hear back from them.
Parents and students say they have received few details from school officials on why the three teachers have not been in school. A student who asked another teacher if the three suspended teachers were "on strike" was told that they were "on leave" and that the teacher could not say anything else about the matter.
