Circles of Wisdom: A Place for Holiday Healing

Andover's holistic healing center is a great place for holiday gifts.

Cathy Kneeland established in 1999. Her goal in opening the store in downtown Andover was give customers access to alternative methods in human health and other areas of life.

“My desire has always been to provide a safe environment for people to explore alternative ideas in health, spirituality, and how we function in this world,” Kneeland said.

The store offers a wide range of products as well as special workshops such as spiritual development and readings.

“Those who come to our regular ongoing groups in topics such as angels, reiki, intuition, spiritual development, astrology, the paranormal and more really feel a sense of community when they visit our store,” Kneeland said.

Stopping in at Circles of Wisdom would be a great idea for anyone looking for a holiday gift. The store offers many different gift ideas with varying prices.

Kneeland suggests, “Our CD collection includes many relaxation and healing titles, plus guided meditation and brainwave frequency CDs to help with stress reduction, sleep and expanding awareness.”

Perhaps you are in the market for something a bit more exotic. “We just received a new shipment of Himalayan salt lamps,” Kneeland said. “The lamps give off negative ions and help clear the energy of a space,” she continued.

Other ideas include gemstone jewelry and crystals. “Besides being beautiful, the stones vibrate at a higher frequency than we do and having them around us helps raise our vibration,” said Kneeland.

Circles of Wisdom also offers gift certicates both in store and through its website. The certificates are good for merchandise, workshops, and readings which gives the receiver many choices of how the gift can be used.

The store also offers workshops. The complete schedule of workshops can be found on their website. Kneeland explains one of the most popular workshops offered, “Our monthly Angel Explorations of New England Meetup includes a wonderful group of people in an informal setting,” she said. “They discuss angels and other spiritual topics, with members of the group often presenting their gifts to others – a great opportunity for sharing,” she continued.

Andover is lucky to have Circles of Wisdom and Circles of Wisdom is happy to be in Andover. “It’s wonderful to be in a nice downtown where we can walk right out to the bank, for meals, or for walking our dog Sage to the park for a break. The ABCA (Andover Business Center Association) is doing a great job putting together events that revitalize the downtown and bring residents in to see all that we have to offer here,” Kneeland said.

Circles of Wisdom is a place that can create change. Cathy Kneeland enjoys seeing those changes.

“The most rewarding part of running Circles is to see the friendships that form and the transformations that take place with our customers. We are a gathering place for those seeking to live more consciously and holistically. When we can bring together a teacher – either a local person or one who travels nationally – with an eager group of students to spread the seeds of transformation I feel fulfilled that I am accomplishing my mission in this lifetime,” she said.

Circles of Wisdom is open seven days a week.
