Derek Da Silva Joins Align Credit Union's Mortgage Team
Align Credit Union is pleased to announce that Derek Da Silva has joined the Mortgage Team as a Home Financing Consultant.
Align Credit Union is pleased to announce that Derek Da Silva has joined the Mortgage Team as a Home Financing Consultant. He is based out of the Lowell locations at 87 Hale Street and 900 Chelmsford Street (Cross Point) and serves Align’s Members in the Greater Lowell area. Derek is focused on providing customized home financing solutions including new loans, refinances, home equity loans and lines of credit.
Derek has been part of the Align team for nearly eight years. Prior to his position as a Home Financing Consultant, he was the Assistant Branch Manager at the Danvers location, a Member Service Representative and a Teller. He has a bachelor’s degree in management and marketing from Middlesex Community College and an associate’s degree in business administration from UMASS Lowell. He is registered with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS ID 1112025).
“I love educating our Members and helping them with their finances. It’s satisfying to see them achieve their goals.” said Derek. “In this new role, I’m also able to help Members buy their first home. It’s rewarding to be part of such a big milestone.”

Derek is the treasurer for the Portuguese American Civic League and the Massachusetts State Soccer League, and on the board of directors for the Escudos de Portugal Soccer Club. He also manages and coaches at the Lowell United Soccer Club.
He lives in Lowell, Massachusetts.
