Dr. Arthur Lauretano of Andover Co-Chairs Circle Health Ball For Community Health Initiatives

Raises Over $297,000 To Support Ten Merrimack Valley Health And Wellness Programs

A sold out crowd of nearly 600 guests celebrated at Circle Health’s Ball for Community Health Initiatives on Saturday, March 7, 2015. The event, held at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel raised over $297,000 to help fund vital health and wellness programs which benefit residents of the Greater Lowell community.

“The Circle Health Ball for Community Health Initiatives has been an incredible event for ten years that represents a wonderful partnership between Lowell General Hospital, our dedicated physicians, partners and members of the community,” said Norm Deschene, President and Chief Executive Officer of Circle Health. “We normally raise funds for three local charities, but to celebrate our tenth annual ball we felt it was appropriate to recognize ten worthy non-profits this year that will focus on supporting the health and well-being of young people in our area.”

“This year’s ball carried on the tradition of highlighting just a few of the many organizations that are doing amazing work in our communities,” said Deschene. “The Ball committee, led for the first time this year by Dr. Arthur Lauretano of Andover and Dr. Rebecca Shore of North Reading, did an outstanding job in creating an event where everyone had a wonderful time while making a difference for those in need in the communities we serve.”
