Firefighters Back Koh In Andover Selectmen's Race
Koh is one of three candidates who has said he will run for two open seats in the March town election.

ANDOVER, MA -- Dan Koh picked up the first major endorsement in the Andover Select Board Race. Andover Firefighters Local 1658, the union that represents firefighters in town, said Friday its members unanimously endorsed the candidate.
Last year Koh placed second in a 10-way Democratic primary for U.S. Representative, losing to eventual general election winner Lori Trahan by just 145 votes. From 2013 to last year, Koh was chief of staff to Boston Mayor Martin Walsh.
Two seats on the five-member board are up for reelection in the March town election. Chairman Alexander J. Vispoli is running for re-election, while Paul Salafia said he will not run for a fourth term. Alexander Bromberg is also running, making a three-way race for the two open seats.
