Andover Select Board Candidate: Leaders Let Us Down In Gas Crisis
Alex Bromberg says he's running for the Andover Select Board because he felt "abandoned by Andover leadership" following the gas explosions.

ANDOVER, MA -- Alexander Bromberg will run against Dan Koh and incumbent Alex Vispoli for the two selectmen seats up for reelection in March. Paul Salafia, the other member of the board whose term is coming to an end, has said he would not run for a third term.
Bromberg, 34, grew up in Andover and returned to the town to raise his family. In a message posted on Facebook, he said he was running because he felt let down by the town's current leadership following the Sept. 13 gas explosions in Andover, Lawrence and North Andover.
"It is so important to me to see our community thrive and, for this to happen, the needs and concerns of Andover residents (the people who make this community something special) need to be top priority. Their voices must not only be heard but followed by action to improve the lives of every resident and every local business," he wrote last week. "I, like many effected by the September 2018 gas crisis, felt abandoned by Andover leadership and I think the great people of our town deserve better."
