FREE Concerts in the Park Begins Tonight, July 16!
Tonight, July 16, will open the Andover DCS Concerts in the Park with the Mystic River Band performing!
New to the Andover DCS Concerts in the Park summer lineup is the Mystic River Band based out of North Andover, MA.
The Mystic River Band was formed in 2001 by Ed Antonelli, the lead guitarist/vocalist, and plays a great mix of classic rock, contemporary covers, blues, jazz, and original music. Ed’s guitar style has been compared to that of Carlos Santana. Ed has been performing since the 70’s and has done thousands of gigs. As the owner of North Andover music Academy he has also taught thousands of aspiring musicians. Jacques Raymond also shares the vocal responsibilities and plays bass guitar. Jacques was a member of the Boston Baked blues band and has played and recorded with many regional blues bands and R & B groups. Otherwise known as Cadillac jack, he has shared the stage with the likes of BB King and Aretha Franklin. Rounding out the three part band is Aaron Robertson. Aaron is one of the finest drummers in New England and his return to the Mystic River band has elevated the performance to even greater levels. The band has a huge playlist to entertain music lovers of all ages.
The Mystic River Band will perform in The Park at the corner of Chestnut & Bartlet streets as part of the Andover DCS Concerts in the Park free summer music event on Wednesday, July 15th from 6:00-8:00 pm. In the event of inclement weather a decision will be made by 2:00 pm on the day of the show by the band as to whether they will play or not. The Mystic River Band will reschedule for Thursday, July 16th if they do have to cancel the performance on Wednesday, July 15th.
