Merrimack Valley Philharmonic to Feature Horn Soloist Lydia Lowery Busler on May 1st

Horn Soloist Lydia Lowery Busler will perform with the Merrimack Valley Philharmonic on May 1st at Veteran's Memorial Auditorium in Andover

The Merrimack Valley Philharmonic Orchestra is very pleased to welcome hornist, composer, and performance clinician, Lydia Lowery Busler as an accomplished featured soloist for its upcoming May 1st concert. Lydia will be performing Hayden’s Concerto No. 2 in D Hob. Vlld: 4 with the orchestra.

Ms. Busler began her performing career at age 16 with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Her composing career also began at that age, as she wrote for high school dance troupes. Lydia has since performed with the New York City Ballet, Brooklyn Philharmonic, José Limón Dance Company and Manhattan Chamber Orchestra, as well as holding the position of Solo Horn with the Rome Festival Opera. In 2014, Mu Phi Epsilon nominated Lydia to the organization’s list of esteemed Artists, Composers, Musicologists and Educators (ACME). This special honor was in recognition of Ms. Busler’s outstanding credentials as a composer, performing artist, and clinician in the United States and abroad.

As a soloist, lyric improvisationalist (https://soundcloud.com/lydia-lowery-busler), clinician: “Rewiring Your Brain for Joy on Stage!” and composer, Lydia’s compositions are performed by artists worldwide.
