Orchids 101 on April 5
The Andover Garden Club presents Norm Selander-Carrier, who explains that orchids are easier to care for than popularly thought.
Description of Program: Do you consider orchids among the most finicky plants to grow? The truth is these beauties are actually some of the easiest--if given the correct light exposure, the proper potting soil, and the right amount of water. Award-winning expert Norm Selander-Carrier will discuss these basics and debunk commonly held myths associated with orchid care. He will bring a variety of blooming plants, and, as this time of year is best for repotting, will demonstrate the technique.
When: Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at 10:00 AM; event begins with social time followed by a brief meeting, then the program.
Where: South Church, 41 Central Street, Andover MA
