• Andover Fire Rescue Sets Open House At Public Safety Center (patch.com) — Andover residents are invited to an Oct. 17 open house at the Public Safety Center on North Main Street, where Fire Rescue will showcase fire prevention and public safety tools. Visitors can explore the Fire Awareness Safety Trailer, meet Andover police and public health staff, and receive free blood pressure and glucose screenings while enjoying pizza.
   

• Oct. 2-4 Public Safety Notebook: Leaf Dump Fires, Dirt Bikes And Hotel Intruder (andovermanews.com) — Andover police and firefighters handled a busy Oct. 2–4 weekend, from repeated fires at the High Plain Road leaf dump and a vehicle fire on I-495 to dirt bike groups on River Road and a condemned residential unit. Crews also responded to a hotel intruder report, Phillips Academy students on a CVS roof, and smoke at a Main Street restaurant that turned out to be from a wood-burning oven.

The fully leased properties, home to firms like Physical Sciences and SciAps, are seen as a long-term, cash-flowing bet on high-tech manufacturing space near I-93 and I-495. Buyers highlight rising construction costs and strong demand for specialized facilities.
