The Essex County District Attorney's office is not releasing the victim's name because he is a juvenile. They said he was trespassing on the MBTA tracks and that foul play was not suspected in the case.
Tracy Sweet, director of Phillips Academy communications, told the Eagle-Tribune that the entire school community had been gathered in the chapel to "support one another and let students, faculty and staff know that resources are available to them." The school also told students Wednesday classes were optional.
