Student Receives Narcan At High School In Andover
The student was found in a semi-conscious state after being left alone for a short period of time.

ANDOVER, MA -- A nurse at Greater Lawrence Technical School gaveadministered two doses of the anti-opioid overdose drug Narcan to a 16-year-old student Friday. The girl had been left alone for a short time and was found by an office worker in a "semi-conscious" state. The student was taken to Lawrence General Hospital.
"We hope she is OK, but we are still conducting an investigation," Andover Police Lt. Edward Guy told the Eagle-Tribune, which first reported this story. The school serves students from Andover, Lawrence, Methuen, and North Andover.
