Andover Town Meeting Voters Approve $162.6 Million Budget; High School Track Replacement; Public Safety Communications Upgrades; Highway Vehicles

Voters took up the Andover Annual Town meeting warrant over several nights this month.

Town meeting voters approved a $162.6 million budget for fiscal year 2016, Andover High School track replacement, public safety communications upgrades ($150,000), highway vehicles ($175,000), town and school energy inititiatives ($337,000) and safety/security communications upgrades ($600,000).

Voters rejected town meeting electronic voting; high school library/media center renovations; and zoning bylaw amendment - assisted living residences.
