Two Town Manager Finalists Chosen
The candidate selected will replace Andover's former Town Administrator, Reginald "Buzz" Stapczynski, who served in the role for 25 years.

Two finalists have been selected for the position of Andover town manager.

Wilmington’s Assistant Town manager Kendra Amaral is one of two finalists for the Andover position, the Lowell Sun is reporting. The other finalist is Andrew Flanagan, the deputy town manager in Arlington.
Both are expected to be interviewed by selectmen this summer.

Amaral became Wilmington’s Assistant Town Manager back in 2012 when Jeff Hull took over as the town’s manager when Michael Caira retired. Amaral was Hull’s replacement. Prior to coming to Wilmington, Amaral was the Lowell Department of Planning and Development for Development Services deputy director.
The candidate selected will replace Andover’s former Town Administrator, Reginald “Buzz” Stapczynski who served in the role for more than two decades before retiring on June 30.
