Voting Information for the Presidential Primary
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1.

Andover, MA - The Presidential Primary will be held on Tuesday, March 1.
Polling hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Precincts 1, and 3 will vote at the Center at Punchard (Senior Center) on Whittier Court. Precincts 2, 4, 5 and 6 will vote at the Wood Hill Middle School. Precincts 7 (including sub-precinct 7A), 8 and 9 (including subprecinct 9A) will vote at the Andover High School Field House on Shawsheen Road.
Shuttle bus service will be available between the Center at Punchard, Andover High School and the Wood Hill Middle School from 10:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m.

The last day and hour to apply for an absentee ballot is noon on Monday, February 29. Absentee ballots are now available at the Town Clerk’s Office.
Voters will be casting their votes for Presidential Preference, State Committee Man, State Committee Woman and Town Committee for each of Massachusetts four political parties; Democratic, Republican, Green-Rainbow and United Independent. Voters registered in one of these four political parties may only take a ballot for their party. Unenrolled voters, often called Independents, may choose a ballot for any one of the four political parties. New for this election voters enrolled in a political designation other than Democrat, Republican, GreenRainbow or United Independent, will also be able to choose a ballot for any one of the four political parties.

Voters can check their party registration, precinct and polling place on the Secretary of State’s web site at www.sec.state.ma.us or by calling the Town Clerk’s Office at (978) 623-8255.
