Woburn Coronavirus Update: 87 Confirmed Cases, 47 Active
Thirty-eight Woburn residents have recovered, as of Wednesday afternoon.
WOBURN, MA — Woburn has 87 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus, as of Wednesday afternoon, the city said. Fourty-seven of the cases are active while two residents have died. The remaining 38 residents have recovered and are out of isolation.
On Tuesday, there were 79 confirmed cases in the city.
For privacy reasons, the city does not release any information about coronavirus patients. Public health officials conduct follow-up with the patients' contacts.

Forty-eight residents are currently in quarantine for potential exposure, while 61 have been released from quarantine.
