2 Arlington Business Owners Report Same Phone Scam Monday
A caller falsely claimed to be from NSTAR on both calls.

Two Arlington business owners reported receiving the same phone scam Monday afternoon.
On both calls, a caller falsely claimed to be from NSTAR and said the business owed hundreds of dollars in past charges to NSTAR. If they did not pay immediately, their electricity would be cut off, the caller said.
The caller said the business owners could pay with money packets from a local convenience store. Both business owners did not fall for the scam; they hung up and called police.
