Watch: AG Maura Healey on Moving On from Trump Victory

The event was broadcast via Facebook Live.

ARLINGTON, MA — In a Town Hall discussion at the First Unitarian Universalist Church on Massachusetts Avenue in Arlington, Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey will be speaking to hundreds of people about moving forward from the recent presidential election.

According to a report by the Arlington Advocate, Healey's discussion will cover how to move forward and protect key items in the liberal agenda enacted under President Obama. Following the election, Healey stated she while she will work with the President-elect and congress, she will "forcefully oppose any effort by [President-elect Donald Trump] or Congress or anyone else to roll back the progress we’ve made under President Obama."

The event was closed due to the amount of people who have signed up for the event. Arlington residents voted overwhelmingly in favor of Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump, as did the rest of the state.
