The Massachusetts Avenue restaurant narrowly edged out The Arlington Restaurant & Diner, and in to win our most recent Best of Patch Readers’ Choice contest for best place to go for Mother’s Day brunch.
This Mother’s Day (which is Sunday, May 13 … in case you’ve forgotten), Flora is offering a three-course fixed-price menu, which includes champagne for mom throughout the meal, for $60 (children 10 and under, $30).

The menu features entrées like Maine crab and cod cakes, with a bacon, arugula and tomato salad, and a wine-braised lamb leg, with artichokes, tomatoes, fennel, lemon and rosemary polenta, as well as a vegetarian option (barley and wild rice risotto), a slow-roasted prime rib of beef and a grilled swordfish steak.
