Arlington Community Education classes start next week

Now is the perfect time to learn something new! Arlington Community Education (ACE) classes for adults and youth start soon. Don't wait to register or you may miss out. Many classes fill quickly and under-enrolled classes will be cancelled, so register right away.

Adult classes begin next week, with over 150 options, including 51 new classes. Most classes are held in the evening. There are also daytime and weekend options, as well as socially-distanced walking tours and fitness classes. One-night and multi-week classes begin each week through mid-March. For youth, a new semester of ACE Kids classes begin the week of January 19. Most will be held online, organized by category instead of by school. Offerings include arts & crafts, fitness & dance, STEM, languages, life skills, and more. There will also be several outdoor, in-person classes, as well as Driver’s Ed and SAT prep for high school students.

The VacationFun! enrichment program will run from February 16-19 for grades K-8. Registration is open and will continue until the first meeting of any class, as space permits. Most classes will be in-person at Ottoson Middle School and the program will follow all current APS safety protocols. This year only, in-person classes are open to Arlington residents only. Choose morning or afternoon classes or combine for a full day of enrichment. For those who prefer a virtual format, there is a selection of 1-2 hour remote classes, open to residents from any town or state.
