Arlington Community Education Fall 2026 Registration Opens August 4

The Arlington Community Education (ACE) Fall 2026 catalog is now available for preview, with hundreds of classes for adults, families, and kids. Registration opens Tuesday, August 4, at noon. Printed catalogs are on the way to Arlington addresses, and the catalog is also available online at ArlingtonCommunityEd.org. The fall term runs from late September through early December.

There are more than 300 adult classes in art, fitness, cooking, finance, technology, languages, writing, and more. Classes are offered in the evenings at Arlington High School and Gibbs School, as well as during the day at the Community Center and other locations around town. More than 80 new classes include spice blending, DIY home repair, Japanese, cribbage, menopause education, annuities, Middle Eastern cooking, poetry, voiceover, James Bond, and Broadway jazz dance.

ACE Kids offers after-school enrichment classes in art, STEM, cooking, sports, theater, languages, and more at every Arlington public school. There are also evening and weekend offerings, as well as driver’s education, SAT review, metalsmithing, climbing, hiking, and more for high school students. Nearly 20 family classes give adults and children the opportunity to learn side-by-side, including new cookie decorating, hand-lettering, bubble tea and dumplings, and world religion classes.

This term’s catalog features artwork by Cover Art Contest winner Darci Hanna. The Somerville-based artist spent her childhood raising longhorn cattle on a farm in Kansas. Her work frequently confronts our complicated relationships with the natural world. Versicolor I, an acrylic painting on panel, highlights the often-overlooked beauty of common turkey tail mushrooms. You can also view the entire catalog and register for classes at ArlingtonCommunityEd.org. Many classes fill quickly, and under-enrolled classes are canceled, so register early to reserve your spot.
