Arlington Early Voting Schedule For Primary Election
This primary election will determine a lot leading up to November.
ARLINGTON, MA — Early voting is underway in Arlington ahead of the State Primary Election on Tuesday, Sept. 1.
Residents can cast their ballots at the Town Clerk's Office on the second floor of Arlington Town Hall, 730 Massachusetts Ave., from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 25, and Wednesday, Aug. 26. Hours will be extended on Thursday, Aug. 27, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The early voting period will conclude on Friday, Aug. 28, with residents able to cast their ballots from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Early voting began on Saturday, Aug. 22, when residents were able to cast their ballots from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Voting continued during the same hours on Sunday, Aug. 23, before Town Hall was open for early voting from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 24. No application or excuse is required to vote early in person.

Saturday, Aug. 22 was also the deadline for voter registration ahead of the State Primary Election. Residents can check their voter registration status and polling location through the Massachusetts Secretary of the Commonwealth's website.
Registered voters can also request a mail-in ballot for the election. The deadline to request a Vote by Mail ballot is Tuesday, Aug. 25, at 5 p.m. Applications can be submitted online or mailed, dropped off, or emailed to the Town Clerk's Office.

The town has ballot drop boxes outside Town Hall at 730 Massachusetts Ave., the Fox Branch Library at 175 Massachusetts Ave., and the ACMi Studio at 85 Park Ave. Voters can also track the status of their mail-in ballot through the state's online system.
Residents who choose to vote on Election Day can visit their regular polling place on Tuesday, Sept. 1, between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Voters can find their polling location through the Massachusetts Secretary of the Commonwealth's online tool.
