The Arlington Greek Festival Returns this Friday !!
Time to get your favorites at first major Greek Festival of the season at St. Athanasius the Great, Greek Orthodox Church.
St. Athanasius the Great, Greek Orthodox Church of Arlington is happy to announce that the 2021 menu will have much of the favorite foods and features of previous years; roast lamb, beef & chicken souvlakia, pastichio, moussaka, Gyro and Greek salad plus their famous array of authentic Greek pastries, coffees and desserts, featuring the fried dough treat loukoumathes.
Once again it will all be under the big tent rain or shine, at 4 Appleton St, with DJ Music provided by Salonica Boys, Charlie Pentikis and the locally operated internet Greek Music broadcaster KefiFM.
Announcement of the festival thus far has been well received with most festival fans appreciative of the COVID considerations being applied through additional open-air outdoor seating and a focus on take-out meals as well as a few attractions that will be missed this year, most notably the children’s area with bouncy-houses and live music with a dancefloor.
