ARLINGTON, MA — An Arlington home will be featured in the 37th season of the 18-time Emmy award-winning home improvement show This Old House, with the new season kicking off Thursday night.

The 20th century arts & crafts home set to be featured was built in 1909, and is set to be renovated and improved over 16 episodes. Host Kevin O’Connor, general contractor Tom Silva, master carpenter Norm Abram, plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey will overcome numerous design and construction challenges while preserving the home's history and craftsmanship.

According to a press release, homeowners Nick and Emily want a wider, open living space to accommodate their family and hope to preserve the home's traditional craftsmanship and its representation of an architectural movement towards simplicity, while adding their own style.
