Arlington To Host Biodiversity Summit April 26

The event will be moderated by David Morgan, Arlington's Environmental Planner and Conservation Agent.

ARLINGTON, MA — The Town of Arlington will host a Biodiversity Summit on Tuesday, April 26 from 7 to 9 p.m. as part of EcoWeek 2022.

The event will be moderated by David Morgan, Arlington’s Environmental Planner and Conservation Agent, and feature the following three speakers:

  • Rep. Dave Rogers will speak to state legislative action
  • Elaine Crowder of Arlington Invasives Removal ARMi
  • Jean Devine of the Mystic Charles Pollinator Pathways Group

"Care about native plant restoration, pollinators, climate resiliency, and biodiversity? Join us to get the background on the basics of these topics and how these issues relate to Town’s environmental goals,” said the town in an event posting. "Together we'll explore regional collaboration opportunities."

Arlington's EcoWeek is a week-long series of programs and events that offer an opportunity for community members to learn about topics of environmental justice. It will be held from April 22 to May 10.
