Elder Volunteers Needed, Arlington Intergenerational Storytelling Project with Arlington 3rd Graders

Arlington Intergenerational Storytelling Project with John Porcino Storyteller Needs Elder Volunteers for Minimal time commitment! Rewarding project funded by the Arlington Cultural Council to create connection and bridge generations at the Council on Aging in Arlington. No storytelling experience necessary. Be yourself and tell your stories to curious Arlington 3rd graders. This connection will bring delight and happy surprises to all who participate. John meets with the 3rd graders to collect their questions for the elders, then he’ll share these topics with the elders on Tuesday, May 26 at 1:00 pm at the Council on Aging to hear what the 3rd graders are curious to hear stories about; learn tips about life storytelling to 3rd graders at COA, 27 Maple Street. The Arlington 3rd graders and seniors meet back at the C Thursday May 28 at 10:45 am for stories, refreshments, connection, and to make new friends across generations.
