Arlington Man Charged With Second OUI After Crash
The 29-year-old told officers he had been drinking after he rear-ended a car on Mass. Ave., police said.

ARLINGTON, MA – An Arlington man was charged with his second drunken driving offense after rear-ending a car on Mass. Ave. Monday night, police said. Kyle Suprenard, 29, told responding officers he had been drinking at a Somerville bar before heading home because he was drunk, police said.
The collision happened around 7:44 p.m. The other driver told police he was waiting at a red light at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Teel Street when he was hit from behind.
Suprenard pulled over and gave the driver his information before leaving the scene, the driver told police. The other driver said he believed Suprenard was drunk, but neither he or his passenger appeared to be injured, according to police.

Suprenard was found on his front porch hunched over the door without his keys, according to the police report. He appeared unsteady on his feet and told officers he was trying to get into his house because he was "drunk," police said.
Police said Suprenard showed signs of inebriation and matched the description of the man provided by the other driver. Suprenard declined to make any statements or undergo field or breath tests without a lawyer, according to police.
