Arlington Minuteman Special Election Results
BREAKING: The results are in for the Town of Arlington in the Minuteman Special Election.
ARLINGTON — Arlington has voted overwhelmingly in favor of approving the $145 million in borrowed funds to construct a new Minuteman High School, according to unofficial voting results.
Arlington voted 2,908 to 1,197 in favor of approving the funds. Thirteen percent of Arlington's 31,295 registered voters turned out for the election.
Carlisle, Sudbury, Belmont and Wayland voted in opposition of the project. Belmont voted no by the largest margin, with 2,327 opposed and 901 in favor.

A district-wide referendum was held Tuesday to decide the fate of the new Minuteman High School.
The district's 16 member towns took to the polls in order to decide the borrowing of the funds to construct a new school at 758 Marrett Road in Lexington.

Overall, the bonding for the project was approved by voters district-wide.
