ARLINGTON, MA — An Arlington High School alum has announced his plans to pursue professional soccer in Major League Soccer. Miles Robinson, who currently is enrolled at Syracuse University, announced on Twitter Wednesday that he will be entering the 2017 MLS SuperDraft.

In a press release, the MLS indicated that Robinson is one of five underclassmen who will be available for the draft as part of the MLS's Generation adidas program. Robinson will be forgoing his final two years of eligibility at Syracuse.

Robinson played for the FC Boston Bolts club team during his high school years which did not allow him to suit up for the Spy Ponders, but was a standout basketball player for the Arlington High School boys basketball team.
