Arlington Police are Accepting Applications for Upcoming Citizen's Police Academy
The deadline to apply is Sept. 23. Here is what you need to know.

ARLINGTON, MA — The Arlington Police Department will be holding another free Citizen's Police Academy beginning on Oct. 6, which will give residents and business owners an opportunity to learn about their local Police Department.
According to an announcement from the Arlington Police Department, the topics of the Citizen's Police Academy include
- APD K-9 Unit
- Crime Scene Investigation
- Emergency 911 System
- Traffic Law
- Restorative Justice Program
- Domestic Violence
- Cyber Crime
- Identity Theft
- Drug Identification
- Patrol Ride-along & More
The session will run from Oct. 6-Dec. 1 on Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Police Department located at 112 Mystic St. Applications must be submitted to the front desk officer or emailed to JWalsh@town.Arlington.ma.us by Sept. 23.
