Arlington Police Chase Down Teen, Arrest Man For Driving No License: Arrest Logs

One man was arrested for driving on a suspended license while an Arlington teen is arrested for trespassing.

ARLINGTON, MA — The following are two arrests from the Arlington arrest logs. The information below was provided by the Arlington Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction. Aug. 5

Underage drugs, alcohol, trespassing: An Arlington 16-year-old was arrested after police chased him from the Bishop School where he was allegedly trespassing sometime after 12 a.m. through several backyards. They eventually arrested him near the intersection of Crosby and College Ave. and charged him with Trespassing, Possession of Liquor Under 21, Possession of Class D Greater Than 1 Ounce.

Police said they spotted him outside the Bishop School and watched him throw his backpack over a fence, and jump it himself before taking off. Multiple officers searched for him as he ran through backyards. At one point an officer asked him to stop, to which he allegedly told the officer "I didn't do anything" and took off running again. When officers finally stopped him, they reporting smelling a strong scent of unused marijuana coming from his backpack. A search of this bag and located four cans of Bud Light, two water bottles that contained a clear substance that smelled of an alcoholic beverage, and a plastic supplement container that had a bag of unburnt Marijuana inside of it, according to police.

Aug. 6

Traffic violation, drug citation: Justin Callen, 27 of Denmark, ME, was arrested near the corner of Boulevard Road and Mass Ave just after midnight after police pulled him over for driving with out his headlights and discovered his licence was suspended. They charged him with driving on a suspended licence and issued him a citation for driving with an open container of Marijuana after they found a small bag of Marijuana in the center console.
