Arlington Resident Takes Crack at Republican State Committee Seat
The elected candidate will represent a district including Woburn, Arlington, Billerica, Burlington and Lexington.

ARLINGTON, MA—An Arlington resident will be taking a crack at the Republican State Committee for the Fourth Middlesex District.
Scott Brinch (R-Arlington) announced his candidacy for the seat on Thursday. He will be vying for a spot in the 80-member committee, which consists of a man and a woman from each of the 40 state senate districts.
“As a lifelong registered Republican and graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, I am excited by the opportunity to serve my friends and neighbors in the Fourth Middlesex District in this new capacity,” said Scott Brinch (R-Arlington) in his candidacy announcement. “The Republican party is strongest when it’s grassroots are strong. I look forward to working closely with activists, candidates, and elected officials to grow our party one election at a time.”

If elected, Brinch will serve an area consisting the communities of Woburn, Arlington, Billerica, Burlington and Lexington; including precincts 1,2 and 4 to 7.
The election is held during Mar. 1’s Massachusetts Republican Presidential Primary.
