Arlington residents graduate from The Rivers School in Weston

Arlington resident Samuel C. Cleveland and Lyndsey M. Smith were among 90 students to graduate from The Rivers School in Weston.

WESTON, MA—Arlington residents Samuel C. Cleveland and Lyndsey M. Smith were among 90 students to graduate from The Rivers School in Weston on Friday, June 12.

Sam was an honor roll student who played a key role for both the varsity soccer and lacrosse teams during his two years at Rivers. He was a two-time All-ISL selection in lacrosse and served as captain during his senior year. Sam was also a valuable member of Red Key, which offers campus tours to prospective families. The son of Cutler Cleveland and Karen Lefkowitz, he will attend Colgate University in the fall.

A high honor roll student, Lyndsey was a member of Rivers Givers, the student philanthropy program which raises money to distribute to local non-profits serving young people. She participated in the school’s service trip to Romania and was a member of Red Key. A talented athlete, Lyndsey played ice hockey and soccer for four years, helping the teams to championships in 2014 and 2015. In 2013 she received the Ice Hockey Coaches’ Award. She was also a member of the softball team as an underclassman. The daughter of Richard and Luanne Smith, she will attend Whitman College in the fall.
