Arlington Select Board To Appoint New Member Dec. 17
The board will appoint someone to replace Kevin Greeley, who passed away last month.

ARLINGTON, MA – The Arlington Select Board will appoint someone to replace Kevin Greeley Dec. 17. Greeley, the longest-serving select board member, passed away Nov. 24 at the age of 68.
Retired Select Board member Clarissa Rowe, who expressed interest in the role, was suggested as a possible replacement, according to the Arlington Advocate. The board is looking for someone who can "hit the ground running" but will not run for a full term, making former board members the ideal candidates, the Advocate reported.
Greeley's term ends in April 2019.
