Arlington Touchdown Club Welcomes Leigh Montville
The club will collecting donations for Ukraine during March meeting.

No one can listen to the news coming out of Ukraine and not feel heartbroken about what is happening. We can all try to do our part to help. The Touchdown Club of Arlington will be collecting donations during this month’s meeting in support of Ukraine. 100% of all donations will go to UNICEF USA’s effort to support the children. Members and non-members are invited to donate what they can. Donations will be collected during the monthly meeting on Thursday, March 10-th.
You too can become a member. If you are interested, this month’s meeting is open to anyone who would like to attend. It’s a great opportunity to get more involved with your community, network with your fellow residents and most important, help the youth of Arlington. Every month a guest speaker provides their insights into the sports and news happenings in the New England area, encouraging healthy discussions amongst attendees. This month we are privileged to have Leigh Montville as our guest speaker. During his career, Leigh has interviewed most of the famous and infamous sports page names of the past 50 years. Names such as Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio, Muhammad Ali, Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan to name a few. Montville has covered over 20 Super Bowls, at least a dozen World Series, eight Olympic Games, the Tour de France, NASCAR, the Kentucky Derby, the Indy 500 and the First Gulf War. With such a range of firsthand experiences, Leigh provides some key insights that can only be obtained from someone who was there.
