Arlington Town Election Results: Greeley takes Selectman Seat

Arlington took to the polls Saturday to determine its town officials during the 2016 annual town election.

ARLINGTON, MA—Arlington's residents took to the polls Saturday to decide their town officials.

In the Selectmen's race, incumbent Arlington Board of Select Board Chairman Kevin Greeley took 68 percent of the vote, beating out Maria A. Romano for the open seat. Leonard Kardon and incumbent Kirsi Allison-Ampe, M.D.,  took the two open school committee seats, beating out James F. Doherty.

John D. Leone-51 Irving Street, Candidate for Re-Election: 3616 votes (99 percent)

Maria A. Romano-25 Bates Road: 1442 votes (32 percent)
Kevin F. Greeley-363 Mystic Street, Candidate for Re-Election: 3054 votes (68 percent)

Board of Assessor-Vote for One (3 years)
Robert E. Greeley-38 Edgehill Road, Candidate for Re-Election: 3246 votes (99 percent)

School Committee-Vote for Two (3 years)
James F. Doherty-16 Spy Pond Parkway: 1382 votes (18 percent)
Leonard J. Kardon-65 Tanager Street: 3006 votes (40 percent)
Kirsi C. Allison-Ampe-2 Governor Road, Candidate for Re-Election: 3175 votes (42 percent)

Housing Authority-Vote for One (5 years)
