Arlington Town Meeting Votes 'No Action' on Zoning Articles
The three zoning articles were inserted at the request of the Arlington Redevelopment Board.

ARLINGTON, MA—Three zoning articles submitted by the Arlington Redevelopment Board did not pass at Town Meeting, and another improved.
Patch confirmed that Articles 8, 9 and 10 were voted 'no action' at Town Meeting Wednesday.' The articles addressed changes to the definitions of terms associated with ceiling height; regulations on garage slope and location of new residential development.
Article 8 sought to amend the definitions of the terms Basement, Cellar, Attic, Story, Half Story and Gross Floor Area. Article 9 sought to change open space requirements in certain districts, and Article 10 sought to regulate the grade of a driveway to less than a 15 percent grade.

A substitute motion on Article 11, made by Town meeting Member Adam Auster of Precinct 3 passed.
