Arlington's Cause + Event 5K Race This Sunday
The race will cause some road closures and parking bans.
ARLINGTON, MA — This Sunday is the Cause + Event 5K in town, and it will force some road closures and parking bans.
The bike path will be closed during the race from 8-9 a.m. between Mill and Bow streets. There will also be no parking on the westbound side of Mass. Ave. between Mill and Lowell streets from 5-9 a.m.
The town was promoting the fact that the Arlington Youth Counseling Center is promoting in its second Cause + Event 5K. More than 40 men, women, and children will participate to support the Arlington Youth Counseling Center. You can spot them with their daffodil yellow "Team Up for AYCC" t-shirts.

The AYCC's fundraising goal this year is $25,000 (!), so consider making a pledge to Team AYCC. "Every dollar raised will help fund direct services, particularly for families who are uninsured or underinsured, and those who cannot afford their deductibles, co-payments, or coinsurance," it said.
