ARLINGTON, MA — All of the following is taken from the Arlington Police log, which is public but not detailed. They represent a portion of what kinds of calls the police respond to and are highlighted here for the public to see what types of calls the police respond to. Thursday, June 22

Fugitive: Police noted they arrested someone under the age of 18 on a warrant for being a fugitive of justice. The location of the arrest was Claremont Avenue.

Third Offense: Police noted that during a traffic stop on Mass Ave, they arrested George Harrell and charged him just after 10 p.m. with operating under the influence. They noted it was his third offence.

Fight? Police noted they responded to a report of a disturbance of some sort on Russell Street just before 11 p.m.

Friday, June 23

Assault: Police noted there was a report of an assault and battery on Claremont Avenue at 8:53 a.m. And then again at 11:48 a.m., although it's unclear from the logs if they are connected.

Animal complaints: Several people called to complain about animals throughout the day, including on Vernon Street and Mass Ave.

Suspicious: Two reports of suspicious cars came in just after 1o:30 a.m., one on Mystic and the other at the Bike Path.

Saturday, June 24

Larceny: Someone reported a larceny of more than $250 on Summer Street at 9:30 a.m.

Crash: Someone was injured in a car crash near the corner of Cleveland Street and Mass Ave. The call came in at 9:40 a.m.

Shoplifting: Someone called to report a shoplifter at a business on Mass Ave just after 3:40 p.m.

Concealed plate: Police noted they stopped someone on Lorne Road for a plate violation, attempting to conceal an identity.

Sunday, June 25

Disturbance: Someone reported a disturbance at 12:40 a.m. on Stone road.

Larceny: Someone reported a theft of more than $250 on Summer Street. Police noted it was by a "single scheme."

Bike stolen: A bike was reported stolen on Westminster Road.
