High Voter Turnout In Arlington: 2018 Midterm Results

More than three-quarters of registered voters in Arlington showed up at the polls Tuesday. Here's how they voted.

ARLINGTON, MA – More than three-quarters of registered voters in Arlington flooded the polls to vote in the midterm election Tuesday. Nearly 77 percent of eligible voters, or 24,104 voters, showed up on election day, according to the town's unofficial results.

Arlington voters shut down Question 1, 15,840-7,324. Meanwhile the town voted overwhelmingly in favor of Questions 2 and 3, approving Question 2, 19,207-4,123 and Question 3, 19,532-4,030.

Congresswoman Katherine Clark beat John Hugo, 19,578-3,771 and Sen. Elizabeth Warren beat Geoff Diehl, 18,676-4,396. But the town deviated from the rest of the state in the governor's race, with Democrat Jay Gonzalez squeaking by Gov. Charlie Baker, 11,942-11,465.
