I will not get into a long dissertation about this subject except to ask those who are so readily to have the prosecutor drop these charges, why? It doesn't matter if the perpetrator is 18 or 48. The law has been broken. For those who say her whole life is ruined, well she should have thought about before committing this crime. Who's to say she won't do this in the future whe she's older and still preying on younger victims. If you let her get away with this then you're condoning all sexual predators and you might as well put up a sign that says." Welcome to Arlington, Ma. Home for Sex Predators." Would you feel the same way if this woman violated one of your younger children? I think not !! You should be ashamed of yourselves for trying to get this woman off. Let her take the plea bargain and to her parents, would also feel the same way if your daughter had been violted when she was yoinger? Would you be readily willing to dismiss the charges if it did happen? Think about it.
Lastly, Mr. Prosecutor, please do not succumb to the pressure these people are bring upon you. Do the right thing. Uphold the law. Thank you.
