FISHING

I like to take a fishing trip

As often as I can.

The kind of fish I want to catch

Does not enter into my plan.

Oh, we like to catch crappie,

Bream and catfish too.

"But, Lord, we like to catch them all;

We leave the selection up to you."

Now I know I have dominion

Over the fish in the sea.

But sometimes my dominion does not work

When the fish are contrary as can be.

I also like to fish for men-

Jesus said we should.

But they do not always want to get caught;

They say I misunderstood.

That is what happens when you rush in,

Without a Word from God.

He will escape till another day;

Your catching skill was robbed.
