Grandparents Raising Grandchildren

In Massachusetts, over 28,000 children live in households where the grandparents are responsible for the children living with them.

If you are or know someone who is a grandparent raising grandchildren or are concerned about someone else raising your grandchildren, this could be of interest to you.

The Commission on the Status of Grandparents Raising Grandchildren was established by Massachusetts Law in 2008 “to foster unity among grandparents and grandchildren, communities and organizations, while serving as a liaison between government and private interest groups concerned with grandparents raising grandchildren.”
