Driving under the influence but where?: Police pulled Daniel Duarte, of Dorchester, over on Nov. 20 and arrested him after a traffic officer clocked him going more than 50 MPH in a 30 MPH zone weaving in and out of the oncoming traffic lanes and into the bike lane and then blowing through a red light, only to stop in the middle of the intersection at Mass Ave and Franklin Street. When the officer pulled him over, Duarte gave them a car inspection report rather than his registration and licence and admitted to having a revoked licence. Duarte told police he was coming from work in Watertown, but seemed to think he was in Brookline. After taking a sobriety test he was arrested. Police found two empty bottles of beer in his car. He was charged with OUI 3rd Offense, driving on a revoked licence, negligent operation, speeding, marked lanes and red light violations.

Call about suspicious door knockers leads to warrant arrest: On Monday Nov. 27 Toabey Kim,23, of Cranston, RI, was arrested after someone reported a paving company going door to door in the Hamlet Street neighborhood. When the officer arrived he ran Kim's name through dispatch and it came back he had a warrant out for his arrest for driving without a licence.
