The emotion in the music and the performer’s interpretation add a great deal to what a story told in song conveys. Come hear three exceptionally expressive singers, soprano Sara Michale Smith, mezzo-soprano Leslie Jacobson Kaye, and alto Joanna Porackova who have each performed with multiple opera companies as well as to acclaim in a broad range of other musical venues. Besides being a composer with a piece included in this program, pianist Nathan Johnson has been a guest soloist with orchestras in the U. S. and Europe.
